Common questions

Everything you need to know.

Who is eligible to apply?
Any student currently enrolled at a recognised institution. Undergraduate or postgraduate. Any discipline. Prior leadership experience helps but is not required.
How much time does it take?
About four to six hours a week during term. Two training weekends across the year, plus quarterly convenings. Lighter during exam season.
Is there a stipend?
The role itself is voluntary but comes with a project budget for campus activities, travel to convenings and materials. Standout ambassadors are prioritised for paid HAPEI internships and roles.
How much would it cost to apply?
Nothing. Applying is free and always will be.
Can I apply if my campus does not have any ambassadors yet?
Yes. We actively want to open new campuses. Your application counts toward opening your institution.
What happens after I apply?
Review within a week. Shortlisted applicants get a short call. Successful applicants join the next intake cohort within a month.
